Description

Thank you for your email requesting permission to place some geocaches on the West End, Esher and Fairmile Common. These are part of the Esher Commons Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and as such we do not give permission for geocaching to take place. This area is a nationally protected area which is also heavily used by dog walkers and so any disturbance generates a lot public comment and complaint.
We are happy to consider any proposals for geocaching at Brooklands Community Park which we feel is more suitable to this activity within the Borough.
