As a reminder for those of us who haven't visited this site for a while,
who is on the current committee of GAGB, and would it not be a good idea to have that information in the FAQ??

I may be wrong - but I think when you entered the GAGB site, before you clicked on the forum button, you may well have seen links to exactly the question you're asking...........
For some time, it has been becoming more and more apparent that Geocaching in the United Kingdom needs to be represented by a body recognised in the UK by the cachers and acting on behalf of the cachers.
The founder members set out the aims and structure of the association, announced its creation on the major listings sites, and invited all UK cachers to join. After a short period where people joined up and finishing touches to the aims were debated, elections were called and a committee voted in.
The seven founder members of the association were Moss Trooper, Tim & June, Richard and Beth, El10t, Postie, The Wombles and Jeremy P. The current committee is listed here (https://www.gagb.org.uk/meet-the-committee.php).
To find out more, try browsing the GAGB Forum (https://www.gagb.org.uk/forums/), or contact the committee (https://www.gagb.org.uk/contact-us.php).

Found it now. Pretty minuscule link.
And it lists the committee from November 2008. Someone can see the future. :)

I suppose it does depends on what resolution you have your browser set to.
With more and more users migrating to this forum it would be helpful to have a quick link to see who is in charge.
Maybe it warrants a link on the sidebar.

Thanks. Now how about changing the link on the graphic at the top left of this page to take you to the GAGB homepage and not to the forums (where you already are anyway)

Who is Muggle? As mongoose says, someone who has been around a while; it is my humble opinion though that it is just a mask as the real person is afraid to let out who they are! So why don't they show their real identity!!!!!!

I believe uktim is one half of a team called Tim & Adeline who used to live on a farm between Ludlow and Worcester.
I did their only cache back in 2003. It was a bit of a climb but the views from the cache were spectacular.

Think it would be a good idea to edit the part in brackets please, no need!

Why should I?
So moote01 is the name on your driving licence? We all (well pretty much all) use aliases on both this forum and gc.com. When GAGB started I chose not to use the same alias as I do on GC.com but at the time everyone knew what my gc.com name was. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out the muggle connection.

I known for some time who you are, but others here do not, I know it's not a rule that you must have the same name; but new members just see profiles such as yours as a hindrance. OK Moote is not my name; but I have no issue of shouting Milton David Grimshaw in here! I will never hide under an alter ego.

I made a couple of suggestions that might make the new forums more user friendly. What possible difference does it make what my identity is?
I really don't see what your problem is apart from arguing for the sake of it.
Subject CLOSED.
