To be fair, Mike's Goldie was a gift for the help he provided in testing the sales software for me and for helping me iron out some of the wrinkles in the software.
To date, the gold coin has only been freely for sale at the recent UK event (limited to one per person who bought at least one other coin).
The exception is going to be the 10 that will be auctioned off over the next month or so on e-bay.
Once the coins break the profit barrier (and this is getting close with copper coins now on the verge of the endangered list), there may be options for swaps for special coins but until that happens I'm trying to avoid doing any swaps.

As to gold coins escaping the principality - to date 2 have - to 2 new continents, both special gifts to people who have been special to me.
Edit: There was a post prior to this explaining a little more about the coin - I hope it turns up - there was a message about something to do with a moderator reading it before it vanished...

I don't know why my first post to the forum was completely ignored with some message flashed briefly across the screen about some sort of moderation involved before I could even read most of the message and then my second was accepted without question... never mind! :)
All I wished to say in my first post was, to be fair, that Mike's gold coin was a gift from me to him for helping me set up the on-line shop software:cheers: I'm happy he likes the coin, and even more happy with how smoothly the entire sales have gone in the last 4 days!
For the record the gold coin has only ever been on-sale "over the counter" as it were in the recent South Wales event as a token of thanks to friends who have given me moral support over the coin's development.
10 Goldies (with their respective initialed and numbered inserts) will go on sale on e-bay in the near future - one of which is on auction at the moment and more will follow in the next month or so, at random, sometimes overlapping intervals.
More Goldie E.P. coins will be available once the coins break even - which is going to be any day now based on how the last 4 days of sales have gone :applause: Mostly for swaps.
But being the disciplined chap I am, until I break the profit barrier on the spreadsheet, I need to sell until the coins make the sum needed to break even. I'm sure most of you out there understand.
 It's been quite an experience over the last few days shifting jiffie bags full of small metal bits in the shape of "me" (or at least my avitar) all over the planet!

Oh and for the record, we Welsh take the use of the word Principality as an insult, as we regard ourselves as a Country (with a capital C) despite the invasion by the English sometime in the past and how they regard us. ;)
 but many of my friends are English so I forgive you for your indiscretion ;):D

The initial batch of 200 (copper & antique bronze) sold out within 3 weeks of going on sale, which is far quicker than I anticipated. I still have a handful that I kept back for postal faliures (none so far) which will probably either go on ebay or be made available on the online shop when the new flock arrives.
Henry's right - another 100 have been ordered and minted - this time with glow in the dark eyes and belly and epoxy coating. I've also minted a number of badges using the front die (exactly the same as the front of the copper coin) - these will also go on sale on the online shop when available - obviously these aren't trackable and will cost less than a genuine geocoin.
Yes, there are 4 other genuine e-bay auctions for low serial number limited edition gold E.P. coins left to be released. There may be other ways to obtain a gold coin in the future too as I still have a number of these left...
