Hi everyone.. Merry Crimbo etc etc..:beer::cheers::beer::popcorn: (well the shops start crimbo in August!!)
Anyway, I was having a Google today, and found some TB's for 99p..:D So I bought a shed load.. If you are quick, there are a few left at :

Only free.. Well almost.... if you buy in quantity. Add postage (£2.11) and VAT and it works out at about £3.50 for 1 but a much better £12.35 for 10 :)

that was my reasoning, although I'm not 100% sure if my order for 10 will be taken - they said they still had stock, but my order status says awaiting stock to be delivered...

Well initally my order of 10 was accepted but has now been changed to awaiting stock :eek:
I have bought quite a lot from Expansys without problems before so I am a little suprised.
I will ring them in a bit to find out what the score is .
Update there is no stock and from what the agent said they never had any so I have cancelled mine and asked for a refund.

Hmmm... strange. I placed an order for 10 about 4 hours ago, which was accepted. However, the email acknowledgement said that they didn't have enough to complete the order but for an additional postage charge of £2.11 + VAT I could have part of my order despatched straight away. They didn't actually say how many would be sent immediately but it did imply that they had some in stock.

Spoke to the nice man on the end of their phoneline and he assures me that even if the price changes for the next batch in and he doesnt think there will be, then the customer will be contacted with the new price for confirmation of order before it is despatched and always befoe monies are taken for the goods.... He also offered me a quote for a 10 and a 100 break price of the blighters at this price - fixed - and apparently will email that quote to me .. time will tell

I saw this thread this morning so dived in and ordered 10 at 08:50. There were 13 showing so once I placed my order I guess that dropped to 3. I've had an e-mail confirmation of my order and nothing to suggest it won't be completed.
I'll wait and see what the postman brings.

i think I was ordering at about 9am, which means I might get those last 3!
Anyway, the more important point is where were they gettign them from so they can charge that price?!
I was just editing mine to insert a smiley when I saw your follow up - I won't hold my breath for 3 then!

This seem to be a usual issue with expansys, last order I did with them showed stock of 5 units (an £xxx item) but order confirmation stated awaiting stock. Weeks later I received my goods, their service is ok-ish, but I wouldn't trust their online stock statements.

Sorry folks, it was me. I saw stock level at 13 at just after half past midnight. I ordered them all, but the stock quantity never adjusted. Looking at the order status right now it says:

interestingly, They've actually taken payment from me, rather than jujst accepted the order - which I seem to remember means they are obliged to provide me with the goods! :confused:

I was up at 6am if it's any consolation, lol. I'll be donating some of these as prizes for the Mega raffles that we have been having at events to raise money for next years Mega event.

Hi, I received the same e-mail today and gave them a ring after the order status page said that my order was part shippable.
Turns out that they have 1 left on hold for me and the guy I spoke to didn't know if any more were coming in or not.
So it might be worth ringing them to find out if more are coming in stock or if enough people inquire about them then they might get some any way - just a thought.
