We are pleased to announce an agreement with the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority. Details are here:
https://www.gagb.org.uk/agreement_view.php?p=78 (https://www.gagb.org.uk/forums/../agreement_view.php?p=78)

I didn't know anything about their involvement with geocaching when we visited. My family were in the Park's Centre by chance when my youngest told me that there was a geocaching display which included their own geocoins. That was a first for me and I was delighted to discover the positive attitude of the Rangers towards geocaching. Thanks to the Rangers for this agreement.

Thanks for this: I've posted it as a topic in the South Wales geocaching forum.

I was wondering whether the BBPA has a map anywhere which clearly shows the land which actually belongs to them? (As opposed to 'other landowners') maybe it's just too complicated for one simple map?

I did ask them for such a map but they couldn't provide it at the time. I'll ask again.

That's really good, Dave, and I like the way in which you came across the Rangers! :)

Any luck with this yet?

The only one we've been able to find is this one, which is of such poor quality as to be not a lot of use....

Also, can you add the/your Park Authority contact point and Name to the agreement as the lack of it in your agreement is causing some problems and confusion for some of us locals here in Wales...

Thanks,

Mike

They only have OS based maps which are under licence so have provided a rough description of their area which I've now included on GLAD.

I've also added the contact details.
