Well,
I've asked a reviewer and I've asked a caching friend but I am still at a loss. I would really appreciate someone explaining to me (imagine you are explaining it to your elderly granny) how to put images on the cache listing when you set up a cache.
I'm pretty dumb so need a dummies guide.
Thanks in anticipation.

HELLO GRAN!

Try here (http://www.follow-the-arrow.co.uk/resources/htmlcodes.html) and look for "Adding images to the page" The image needs to be stored somewhere. Probably the best place is on the cache page...

Under "Navigation" you get the option to "Upload Images"
When the image is on Groundspeak servers you can 'click' on it to get the URL to paste in the text... HTML needs to be checked 'X' for the description...

IS THAT ANY HELP TO YOU?

Hi bendos, use a 3rd party to host images, then, when you copy and paste the "public" url onto the cache page, it's there. I use http://www.dropbox.com/ and it works fine.

Hope this helps,

Gaz

If you are using Firefox as your browser try installing Xinha (http://trac.xinha.org/) as it allows you to open an WYSIWYG that will do most of the work for you, all you need to do is what Gaz suggested. Xinha makes life so much easier if you want to make the page look that little bit more snazzy.

I use NVu (http://net2.com/nvu/).

Design your page offline, then just cut and paste the code into the form.
