I am working on my first series. I would like to use a couple of camouflaged nanos, but redirect the cacher to a larger container nearby (no coordinates, just a note in the nano mentioning where it is) to make it swap friendly. Is that acceptable?

Yup, I have a multi in Cornwall that uses a Micro that contains nothing but the co-ords and hint for the bigger box. Just list it as a multi.

I'd say put co-ordinates in.

Stops the 'random finder' -muggle- from helping themselves to everything!

I agree, list it as a multi and just put co-ords to the second in the first. That is what I have done as well.

Good idea, I've found a few multis that have been set up in this way. The final cache's size is usually the one in the listing, with the nano mentioned as the 'first stage'.

Make it more difficult, and make it two nanos to a large ammo box or similar. I would also recommend using the coords though. No hint!!
