From twitter a little earlier: @mikebreakfast "there are 75000 of them, they get people shouting in the undergrowth, they get kids out at the weekend..will reveal all on breakfast tomorro" - BBC Breakfast's Mike Bushell was filming with a gaggle of kids up on Coombe Hill a couple of Sundays ago so expect to see England's oldest cache (GC171) featured, along with a few cachers who joined in with the hunting. For those who miss it, there will be an iPlayer link along I'm sure :)

It's a good article, well done to those involved. Hopefully we won't get too many underwater caches, they seldom last!

Ah well - it was all about the kids anyway ! pity he left out all the references to GAGB but, as you can see I'm not very photogenic anyway !

I watched the live version and he gave the number quickly. I think he said that its GC2NG0M. (0 is zero). That one is currently unpublished.

I just turned on the news just in time to catch the final shot of him re-hiding the cache! Oh well it's rolling news so it'll be along again in a hour or so.

It is GC2MG0M (http://coord.info/GC2MG0M) (Mike Bushell BBC Sports News)

I am pleased to read that the cache has been placed with permission of The National Trust

When I go online of a morning I usually have fifteen or twenty emails waiting for me, and a handful of those are notifications of new GAGB forum users and new members joining GAGB.

This morning there were eighty-five emails, and the extra ones were notifications of new forum users and new members...

Says it all, really! :)

Probably 60 or 70 were GAGB new Member or new User notifications (I didn't count them), but that's a whole lot more than the usual handful...!

We watched it on youtube, I think it is an excellent introduction to our hobby. We placed the Bucks A-Z Series along with a couple of others and we have had 4 logs today from newbies! This could bode very well for us all!

Just out of interest - that clip took nearly 5 hours to produce ! Kids were very good and ran backwards and forwards marshalled by Mike Bushell and lots of parents. As he intimated, it was really all about getting them outdoors and interested - which obviously worked - I expect we'll leave the more serious interviews to our new and excellent news letter !!
