How does one qualify to vote? How does one qualify to get nominated?

Members can vote if they have joined before the date given above.
Members can nominate or second other members during the dates above.
If someone receives both a nomination and second then they can accept and stand for election.
Edited to add: the full details are in the GAGB constitution (https://www.gagb.org.uk/constitution.php)

No reasons why a Full member of either gender should not stand for Chairperson

I'm sure it is all there somewhere, but most clubs, associations I belong to (including Internet based) are a bit more open about their annual committee elections, AGMs etc. All I seem to get is:-
"juliadream, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
I will be interested to know (after the election), how many members we have, and how many voted.

3fatties & juliadream your both Forum Members and not GAGB Members.
At the request of community Members who had No wish to be Members of the GAGB, but still wished to access the GAGB forum. Membership of the GAGB Forum was separated from Membership of the GAGB. So we now have
Forum Members, this is Membership solely of the GAGB Forum. It is not Membership of the GAGB, and as such does not give the Person any of the benefits of being a GAGB Member. This includes not having the ability to vote in the GAGB Elections, nor any Discounts the GAGB Negotiates with Retailers.
GAGB Member, this is full Membership of the GAGB. And gives all the Benefits of such, including voting in the GAGB Elections (provided Membership was taken out before the Cut Off Date, for such Elections. And also the Discounts negotiated with Retailers. As well as access to the GAGB Forums and also the Members Only Section.
3fatties so whilst your not a GAGB Member so ineligible to Nominate or vote this year (you can change to Full Membership via your profile I believe). I Can tell you that countrymatters has been nominated and seconded.
juliadream whilst you will be ineligible to vote in this years Elections. By Moving to Full Membership you will be able to view the Members Only Section, where all the Candidates are free to post their Manifesto's. And would be eligible to vote in next years Elections.
Again to make it clear, Membership of the Forums was split off from GAGB Membership. After Members of the UK Geocaching Community e=requested access to the forum. With out being forced to be Members of the GAGB.

I see that I have been nominated and seconded, so I record that I am happy to accept the nomination, and am willing to continue for another year in the capacity of Committee member and Editor of Seeker.
