View Full Version : Notification emails from owned caches

Hi all

Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone know how to solve it?

I seem to only receive log notifications sporadically from my caches.

I've set up a gmail account specifically for notifications but it doesn't seem to be functioning correctly.

Is there an option somewhere to turn off notifications on your own caches which I've accidentally hit?

Cheers

Have you checked the SPAM folder?

The direct way is here (https://www.geocaching.com/my/watchlist.aspx). Just check the boxes and choose "Remove".

The slow way is to go to your account, choose "Manage Lists" from the right-hand menu, then choose "Watchlist".

Thanks

Not quite sure what happened with the first post  - fixed now

Checked SPAM and thats not it.

The problem is with the caches whcih I've put down (I'm the CO), I seem to get about 20% of the notifications through to my email account. Weirdly there seems to be no particular pattern to it.

I have tried to "watch" them but as the CO the site says that I already watch them as they are my caches.

Its all a bit confusing :dunno:

Reading the threads over in the Groundspeak forums, there does seem to be a problem with email notifications of cachers own/owned caches...
