We are pleased to announce permission for caches to be placed on Forestry Commission land in Dorset, in addition to the renewal of the agreement for the New Forest.
It is a reflection on the users of the New Forest, and good relationships between cachers and the NF FC that our agreement has not only been lengthened by another year but extended to taken in a whole extra county.
Details of the (slightly) modified agreement can be found in the GLAD database. (https://www.gagb.org.uk/agreement_view.php?p=1)

Well done to all involved in this.
A question ...
Geocache Summary
Land owned by New Forest Forestry Commission
Total caches in this area 8 ( 5 physical, 3 virtual )
Maximum physical caches allowed 100
Total caches < 200m from the area 2 ( 2 physical, 0 virtual )
Now I know it's late in the day (1.25am) but the above makes little sense to me. Is it saying that there are already 8 caches in the Forest (5 physical 3 virtual) and that 'they' will allow a max of 100 physical caches to be placed in the NF & the associted Dorset area?

They will allow a maximum of 100 physical caches in the new Forest area. As there are only 5 physicals at the moment, that means that 95 physical caches can still be placed within the area!
Hurry up everyone as I need some more to do closer to home!
