Hi all we have just purchased an iPAQ Pocket PC. We have been used to the Palm M505 which we have used.
With the Palm we used GSAK to get the gpx files and then exported them to Cachemate.

We have downloaded GPXSonar for use on the Pocket PC. What software do we need to have on our main PC to be able to export the files onto the Pocket PC? If this sounds green we appologise in advance.

Hi guys, glad to hear you've got your new iPaq.

Get a Pocket Query file containing GPX cache details from GC.com and open the mail which contains this file on your PC (but don't open the file itself).

Using ActiveSync Explore, open the subdirectory where you want to put your cache files (perhaps the GPXsonar directory).

Drag and drop the Pocket Query file into the subdirectory.

Open GPXSonar and press FILE > LOAD GPX FILE and double tap on your file.

That's it!

It's better to get several (smaller) Pocket Queries so that less caches are loaded into memory otherwise it'll run very slowly. Have fun.

Just as the Wombles say works fine.
Or - since you use GSAK if you use filters you can save subsets as .gpx files on the PC and drag and drop or copy them across to the Ipaq.

Hi Wobblies,

Grab yourself a copy of SpoilerSync (http://www.anode.plus.com/spoilersync/) (by Arrks) too.

It runs on your PC, scrapes spoiler pics off GC.com by using your .gpx as target caches and then you can syncronise the piccies with your iPaq's 'My Docs' and view them in the field using File Explorer.

Have fun :D
