Hi just wondering if any members know where I can get a geocoin made? I have looked online but only get USA or Europe sites, is there any company in the UK?

Most sites will only manufacture volumes of 50 plus and cost is heavily dependent upon volume. With designs done and approved via US (and GS) then coins being produced elsewhere (e.g. China) then shipped back via the US.

There are sites that will produce smaller volumes with your own design or with photos etched on coins such as this one - but none in the UK as far as I am aware (other than perhaps third parties that act as a portal to other sites and therefore add their fee).

IF you want it trackable on the Groundspeak site, it is well worth reading the 'Pinned' thread on the Groundspeak forums.

Lots of costs involved, including if you want it's own special icon, which also costs...

Depends on what you are after, there is always Path Tags... (DONT mention them on Groundspeak!)
Have a trackable number, but lots of tags/coins have the same number.

I'm getting my personal geocoin made by Pulse 72 Geocaching. They're based up near Manchester I think?

It's taken a couple of months to get the design finalised, get samples made, and then the production run of coins. I think their minimum order is 50, but it gets cheaper (per coin) at an order of 100 coins.
