Rather than look through all the threads, is there a game, where let’s say I start it with naming a place in the world eg Vange and the next player names a place beginning with E. So following on with a place name starting with the last letter of the previous name?

No, there hasn't been one like that. You could certainly start one, though it'd probably just be you and me most of the time; as you've probably realised these forums are pretty quiet these days!
