Hi Geocaching People..

Long time since the beginning me thinks.. How my baby has grown lol..

But the big question is.. I'm trying to find a post on Geocaching.com forum but it looks like the older posts have been archived.. mores the pity. I'm trying to find a post I put up after I broke my ankle on a caching trip in either Dec 2004 or Jan 2005 give or take a year. It was quite a long post written from my hospital bed :concern: I know geocachers are good at finding things.. hope you can help me find this..

Happy Caching.

Moss Trooper :)

Welcome Back :D The GAGB has grown but alas the forum is very quiet nowadays.

I've had a search but unfortunately I cannot find your long post. Luckily the GAGB haven't deleted any posts they go back to the very beginnings of the GAGB to 2003.

Looking at your posts you may be interested that we are planning to update the GAGB constitution this year. We are very happy to have input and feedback from the Founding members.

Hey there - welcome back!

While I can't find an article exactly as you describe it, I can see posts as old as you describe - for instance this one here from Nov 2005 (https://forums.geocaching.com/GC/index.php?/topic/113414-geocaching-safety-tips/#comment-1814499) about a broken leg! You can do a full text search and filter it by date (top-right, select 'advanced search')

Other ideas - there were a couple of early message boards - south east and north west geocaching - might you have posted to those? I don't think those boards kept their archives going, though.

That looks like the post which was linked to on the cache page (https://coord.info/GCMGHN) - a lovely remote location with history. Thanks for placing the cache as I'd have never visited otherwise
