Hi, I’m Gingercatpodcasts, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of geocaching for ages but only recently decided to give it a try. It’s such an exciting way to combine exploration, adventure, and a little treasure hunting. Even though I’m still a beginner and don’t know much about the ins and outs of geocaching yet, I’m eager to learn and see where this journey takes me. For me, it’s not just about finding caches but also about discovering new places, enjoying the outdoors, and connecting with a global community of adventurers.

Hi GingerCat,

I'm also in Hants, whereabouts are you? Happily give you a start if convenient.

Kind regards

Welcome!
Think of it as more of a scavenger hunt than a treasure hunt.
Most caches don't have swaps, usually as they are too small to contain anything more than the log. :joyous:

Hi all

I've just joined and I am in the New Forest, right on the coast of Hampshire!

I'm about to start car camping and decided to dust off my underused personal Geocaching account after having a joint one for years with an ex-girlfriend.

I'm going to be vlogging my microcamping and visits to places of interest from pumping stations to transport museums, to technology exhibitions and trade fairs.

Cheers all,

Catie :-)
