Ok, it was yet another commercial posting - we're fighting a bit of a losing battle with them at the moment. We're getting a dozen or so sign-ups a day, many from people who're just signing up to post spam, but though I'm checking the validating members every day or two it's not always easy to weed out the non-genuine ones. Some follow obvious patterns, but some are more clever.

We're doing our best, but some slip through. It wasn't me who deleted this one, though, it was Tony (mongoose39uk).

i have to admit i too have the guilty pleasure of liking spam.. but then i grew up being fed cheap burgers so it's probably the bse's fault!!! :lol:

well considering that google has threatened to sue to stop the word google becoming a verb i'm suprised spam hasn't tried the same!!!

Why is it, basically any crap, including B K's and Mc D's and Spam have originated in the US?

Whats wrong with Roast Beef and Yorkshire Puds, drenched in lashings of gravy cooked in the meat pan juices???

They have and lost :D The EU ruling against them copywriting SPAM was that their not involved in Emails in any form :D

i still can't believe why google would threaten the bbc is thye kept saying to google something. why would it hurt them to have their name turned into a verb? surely free advert.

roast beef and veg is lovely and so on but sometimes it is lovely in a self indulgent "i know this is bad for me" way to eat something like spam. ;)
