OK. Let's get this cleared up once and for all. This is just one of the many aberrations lodged in the mind of Lost It.
Having known him (in the non-Biblical sense, I hasten to add) for a while, may I offer this advice?...

You don't want to go there. :P

Now, as I was saying, in trying to get back to television... :)

Yes, according to the Radio Times,
"Forty-three years ago Bill toured the States, but had no chance to admire the US wildlife. He attempts to rectify that, his journey starts in New York with bin-raiding raccoons and red-tailed hawks."

(MrsB heaves a sigh of relief at getting this Topic back on track <_< )

watched a documentary last night tourette de france with keith allen in it, he took a bus full of young tourette sufferers (tourettes scotland, run by the bloke/sufferer who was in the QED documentry in the 1980's that brought the condition into the public eye in this country) over to france in a double decker bus, before getting on the bus they wandered round london, they wandered round the houses of parliment the makers got nervous as the sufferes shouted the usual obsenities and things like BOMB! immigrant and terrorist, it was funny but did make a point that they could not help getting out what was on their mind

didn't help that they took them into a gun shop in caterbury before taking them through immigration

Bill D (wwh)
12th January 2007, 02:18 PM
Yes, Tourette's sufferers often come out with what others might be thinking but would never say! And they seem to do so even more than usual if they're in new surroundings, are under pressure or feel threatened. One shouldn't laugh, of course, but sometimes it can be difficult not to!

nobbynobbs
12th January 2007, 08:57 PM
without being all prudish that's why i didn't watch it. had a feeling it was just going to degenerate into a freak show. why exactly did they need to go via th gun shop or to the houses of parliament other than for the amusing words they shout out?

I presume before that you where watching frigate birds playing swap the stick, and trying to converse with howler monkeys in the carribien

watched nuclear secrets on bbc2 on monday night, from recently released KGB/CIA papers, it was about how a russian spy was giving the secrets of the russian side of the arms race, if it wasn't for him doing this the cuban missile crisis could have had a totally different ending, unfortunately the americans and brittish overworked him, before pulling him out and he was caught and executed

its on again next week and is about the manhatten project, I think

Yes, that programme about Penkovsky was interesting - His name crops up in several novels that I've read and it was good to know a bit more detail.
