For those who don't often check the groundspeak forums, I'd just like to announce that I've written something that will swap the grey map on cache pages for something with a little more detail.

For full details, and walkthrough instructions, see this thread (https://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=164270).

(I'm really just posting here 'cos the chairman asked for an update when ready :P )

Unfortunately GC have changed the cache pages (again) so this no longer works..

Hmm, yes... I think this could happen a few more times too - I believe they're still sorting a few little glitches...

Brilliant idea, thanks for putting in the effort for the rest of us mortals.

I'm keeping the script up to date with Groundspeak changes.
As of now, it's working, reinstall (link in first post) to get it to work.

There's also a mailing list (http://groups.google.com/group/enhanced-os-maps-for-geocaching) if you want to be kept informed of updates.
