Okay, my turn...which was the largest island in the world before Australia was discovered?

The fact that you have added 'discovered', I am wondering if it is a trick question ..... and the answer is therefore still Australia.

If not, then I will say Greenland.

It was indeed a trick question. The largest island is the largest island discovered or undiscovered. Answer=AUSTRALIA.

Goldfish, but I prefer martybartfast's answer. It's probably nearer reality.

Seeing that Countrymatters hasn't set a question and mine was the last question, I am taking the liberty to set another one to keep things moving.

A topical question (and without looking!):

What are the colours (left to right) of the five Olympic rings?

Ha Ha, just watching Russel Howard's Good News and he had a bit about the Olympics and I remembered this Q.

    Code:
    blue black red
           yellow green

Sticking with the theme, I think we all know where the 2012 Olympics are being held, but which city is hosting the 2016 Olympics?

As the Olympics draw nearer let's have a question about something that will be used a lot.

Name 3 London Underground stations that have two word names where both words start with the same letter?

In the absence of the question setter I have taken it upon myself to check the answer and can confirm that StickBouncer is correct.
So over to StickBouncer for the next question.

Good answer but not right at this location they stopped collecting them in the early 1900's so unless the someone is a bit elderly then try again.

    CLUE

The original building that housed this collection was funded by money raised at the oldest city based music festival in the country Which is also the longest running cultural festival in the country.

I could be way off the mark, but is the music festival the Three Choirs Festival in Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester?

Even if it is, I'm no nearer finding the bladder stones!

Well, I decided that a quick Google was in order as this is dragging on, found a possible location for the festival (it ain't in the UK) but absolutely no reference to bladder stones.

    Default StickBouncers Stone question

Knowing where the setter is based my answer is Norwich, and having looked at some of his caches due to a previous post I'd say Norfolk & Norwich Hospital.

Was just typing this and all of a sudden I see northking has replied and is bang on the money
Come back. Need all the guesses we can. Any way the clue did say that the answer related to this country so you must have googled the wrong information so your google can not count.

    Time for a hint

This city in England Is reported to have the Largest Cathedral Close in the country as well as the largest and the smallest cloisters in the country.

I have many caches around my wonderful home city If you want details on the Bladder stones have a peek at
In famous Norwich - The Norfolk & Norwich Hospital GC41NKN

    So Over to you northking
