Default New website design and new look for forums

We're pleased to announce that our website now has a whole new look to it, and our new forums have a skin to match that, thus giving the website and the forums an integrated look that they've never had before. You can go directly to our website by clicking on the logo top left of our forum pages.

And you should be seeing the new look in our forums, but if you're not then do the following:

On most, if not all, forum pages, at the bottom left you'll find a dropdown menu which probably shows you "Default Style". Depending on your browser it may be labelled "Quick Style Chooser". If you click on the down arrow and choose "New Theme" you'll then see the forums with a theme matching our new website design.

If by any chance you don't like the new look of our forums, you can use the bottom left dropdown menu to go back to "Default Style".

GAGB would like to thank Ian (studlyone), who offered to do this redesign for us, and who has put in a lot of work getting it up and running despite some substantial database problems that have caused him more than a few headaches!

Ooooh! New look! That took me by surprise when I logged back in this evening! I was only away for a couple of minutes and all change!

Note to self, don't post on GAGB with a hangover......

On the other hand, guaranteed to wake me up in the mornings!

Hopefully, once your eyeballs stop bleeding or the hangover subsides you might decide you like it

Just wondering if "Contacting GAGB by phone" should be on the first/home page?
Surely the first page non-cachers -anyone that has found a cache accidentally- will arrive at.
Is it not better to have that sort of information where they can find it quickly?

    edit.
Erm, OK, yes, it is there, but is it obvious enough?

As that's a very valid point I have taken the liberty of making it a bit more obvious. If you want it rollingback to the old version just holler Bill.

Nope, I've just taken a look and that's great, thanks for doing that, Ian!

And thanks, Bear and Ragged, for pointing it out!
