Well Mrs H work place just had an exercise based on the country being completely snow-bound, so I guess Winter is just around the corner. That means Christmas We've been thinking about organising some sort of get together, along the lines of the Chichester meeting. We meet in a pub. Cache(s) are set for the day etc etc. Thinking of meeting up somewhere in the Bournemouth area. So for date. How about 14th December? If we did something, who would be able to attend.

Nothing definite yet. Just banding an idea around.

Christmas already? Well someone had to be the first to mention it! It had to be mentioned I suppose to be able to book early.
Bournemouth sounds good for us & I do know that Dorset cachers (my parents included) would find that a bit more convenient as they feel a bit left out sometimes!

We'll be there :-)

As long as we have all the Dorset cachers chained together in a separate corner :-)

I somehow don't think he was talking about himself.

Now who do we know who lives in Watford. (Hint: think football teams, think nicknames) :P :P :P

Despite the remarks about Dorset Cachers, we are very interested in attending a get-together and the 14th would be ideal.
We will poll our fellow Dorset Yokels who don't chat on the Forum and encourage them to join in

We were wondering about the get-together. Has anything been sorted out yet as the Festive season is looming?
I suppose we ought to include the Dorset lot in this one seeing as though my Dad is part of The Green Wellie Brigade!! Welcome to the forums!

For those who won't be able (or who will have just got fed up of them&#33 to make a social just before Xmas, we were thinking of running our "Winchester cachers and friends late Xmas social" again next year.... again, at the end of January, and probably in the same place as last Jan.

For planning purposes, let's pencil in the "last sunday of January, 2004".

There is always so much on during the run-up to Christmas, so late January would be much more suitable for us, and it's close to home.
