Unhappy Countdown 2026 - losing Rights of Way

Back in 2000 the Government passed a law that will close thousands of rights of way, forever!!!
The Ramblers Association is lobbying the Government to get this law repealed and have set up a petition on the Government website and they need as many names as possible to 'sign' it.
You do not need to be a member of the Ramblers Association to add your name to the petition. A fuller explanation of the law and its implications is available via this link http://www.ramblers.org.uk/rights_of...t%20introduced
as well a further link to the petition.
We hope you will support this campaign because if the law is allowed to stand it could have a detrimental effect upon geocaching in years to come.

How cool is that, you can go and protect some land by looking at a map and to top it off, you can hide a cache explaining what you're trying to do. Ofcourse those idiots at GS won't approoove of such politically minded caches but the terracaching world would probably welcome it with open arms. I am off to get a copy of my local definitive map......

Has any of these online petitions resulted in a change to anything at all ?
