Thread: Blanket Agreement Rules?

  1. #1

    Question Blanket Agreement Rules?

I am thinking of placing a cache on Hampshire County Council land in the Chilling area. If all of their rules are observed, do I still need to approach them with the specific details?

Never placed a cache before and I don't want to get it wrong.

    Many thanks

You can go ahead and place the cache without prior permission, but you then need to contact the site ranger or other appropriate person and give them details of the cache, so that they can satisfy themselves that there's no problem with it. Of course you're free to check with them in advance to avoid having the cache retrospectively refused.

    Thanks Bill

Will I find details of the Ranger from the Hants website?

Hopefully an email to countryside@hants.gov.uk will get you the details you need.

    Many thanks again

The Ranger I need is away until the middle of December, but I know who to contact now. Many thanks for the prompt responses.
