New members-only forums

Our two new members-only forums, primarily intended for the committee to be able to discuss its business openly in front of our membership, are now fully up and running. If you're a Member of GAGB, as opposed to solely being a Forum User, you should be able to see the new forums. If you can't then please post here or PM me. Thanks!

Not seeing them, as I'm listed as a forum member (joined back in '06).

Looking through the memberlist, only a handful of usernames are down as a GAGB Member. Hopefully Stuart is still chasing this?

We are in the process of debating and trialling some changes to the way that embership of the GAGB is recorded. This will be debated in the members forum. I have corrected your membership status for you as you joined prior to the 3rd May 2008.

Due to the number of inactive forum accounts it was decided to change the accounts that were definitely members (who had registered recently) and to do the rest as and when they return to the forum.

I hope that you enjoy and contribute to the new members forum.

I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right or not - I can see the links for the 2 new forums, but when I go into them I can see no threads or messages.

I've done everything I can to be a member . I joined in the period when membership was automatic, I voted in the elections, I made a donation a few months ago and I renewed my membership this morning. I guess I've got lost in the changes .
