The Scottish government has now scrapped plans they had to lease 25% of the FC Scotland's woodlands to private companies. There were many objections to the plans, not least regarding the possibility of access to that land being severely limited.

I don't know enough about the plans to be sure, but it seems to me that the scrapping of that privatization idea is probably good news for cachers.
