    Just thought i would say hi, use my oregon 300 for mountain biking, and thought i would give this ago... hopefully get my 9yr old son involved..

    Welcome to caching!

    Start with easy ones until you've got the hang of it - on geocaching.com caches are rated for difficulty and terrain, from one star to five, five being the most difficult. Go for ones with a low difficulty rating, and preferably ones that have got a hint that you can use if necessary.

    And you might do best to start with small, medium or large containers - micros can sometimes be a real pain to find!

    And your nine-year-old will probably love it!
