how do i start geocaching

i have just bought an etrek gps, and would like some info on how to start , can anyone please help me?

I have to ask two questions, the first out of interest:

How did you find this website ?

And secondly, what area/town do you live in ? We will try to put you in touch with a local geocacher who can help you.

There are cachers all over the UK who would be willing to help.
