    Default Chairman of GAGB

Nominations for the post of Chairman of GAGB have now closed, and as there was only one accepted nomination I'm very pleased to announce that our new Chairman is Matt Pringle, caching as nobby.nobbs.

Matt, you know that you have my full support, and I'm sure that the rest of the existing committee will join me in welcoming you as our Chairman.

I think we should stick to the election timetable that's been proposed, in order to avoid any confusion. If we do that, then the dates for the committee elections are as follows:

    nominations for committee: 14/11/09
    close of nominations: 21/11/09
    election of committee: 23/11/09 - 28/11/09

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those members of GAGB whose support, assistance and good wishes have helped me so much during my years as Chairman, and I'm sure that Matt will prove a very worthy successor.

Enjoy your new role, Matt!

Congrats Matt and thank you for gracefully accepting the strong arm nomination for chairman

Bill it is great to hear your making a recovery, and thank you for the sterling work you put in supporting the UK Community and from a personal point of view the UK Reviewers.
