Default Love Cornwall and sites like these

We really enjoy caching in Cornwall especially when it takes us to old mine sites like this one at Wheal Coates, one really good cache at this site. CZHQ3

This was taken at the site of the old gunpowder factory at Kennal Vale, Ponsanooth. The picture shows the 'waterfall' from the leet down into where the waterwheel would have once been suspended between the two wheel house. Two good caches at this site. GCMR29 and GCA2D5

We are planning a week in Cornwall for the third year in a row. Not tried caching there yet as we only got into it properly a few months ago! Really looking forward to that!

If you are going to anywhere near the Redruth area try some of Diggersdad's caches.
Visit any of the mine ruins caches as well as they are always good and worth a visit to the area.

Kernow I is a fabulous cache. (If you don't mind climbing down a bit of granite cliff using iron rungs...)

The Cornish spelling is more usually "piskey".

You have to be in the right frame of mind to perceive them i.e. you need to be slightly pisked. Also, ideally, you need to be in the popular piskey parts of Penwith, near places beginning with P (no shortage of those in Cornwall).

MrsB (born and bred at Porthcurno, in Penwith, not far from Penzance and having only slightly pointed ears.)

This seems like a good opportunity for a shameless plug!

Smile ROCKY II - Rocky Valley Ruins

Hidden in Rocky Valley near Trethevy just north of Tintagel, the ruins of an old water mill of course containing something to find.
