    Default GAGB Geocoin

I am intending to get this coin ready for sale about the end of September

It will be 42mm dia and 3mm thick with Black Nickel plating, laser cut tracking number and have it's own icon
They will sell at £6.75* + p&p each (of which 20% will go to the GAGB funds) *price based on cost but may vary dependant on any tax I have to pay in this country, hopefully not.

If you are selling to foreigners at this point, I'd be interested in purchasing a pair.

Don't forget your very own GAGB coin folks, it's been a long time coming but it is here now.
Buy the coin and support the GAGB at the same time.

Thanks to some help from DrDick (about something called paypal?), I've got my mitts on my first coin. Arrived in double quick time too! Nice coin. I do like that coin.
I set myself the target to under achieve. Paradoxically, I think I've achieved it.

    Default Wonderful coin, superb service.

Ordered my coin Monday arrived Tuesday.

Big thanks to DrDick for packing, sending and the team who created the coin.

Smashing design and I'll be showing around. I may even buy a couple more but will leave until others have had a chance to purchase.

Must say that the coin is selling as well as I hoped and with the jolly festive season approaching, make a nice Crimbo pressie, I am pretty confident that they may well sell out.
Get in and buy now if you really want one.

As usual, orders received by 16:30 will be posted that night (1st class)

I've put the tracking number for one of my GAGB geocoins in my Chirp which I'm carrying around wherever I go. It will also "announce" us to any other cachers searching or walking to/from a cache.

But if I don't have 'chirp search' turned on... I'll miss you...

Maybe that's the new phrase when you meet someone, and you're not sure if they are muggle or cacher...

"Do you know how to 'chirp search'... ?"

Our coin arrived on Wednesday - thanks! Unfortunately I've not been able to see it as it's suddenly become my Christmas present . Still, at least I'll have it ready for the 2011 mileage check :socool:

I still have some coins available for sale.
If you have tried and PayPal rejected your payment it was because for no apparent reason they restricted my account.
on the 5th Jan they sent me an email stating: 'You appear not have used your account recently so we are applying restrictions'
Pardon me, I had transactions on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th January 2011 and all through December.
Anyway it's all sorted now and back to normal.
My apologies to anybody who tried.

Gone are the days of two deliveries, the first around 7.30am and the second around 10am... At least the only delivery of the day usually comes to me before lunch!

You're not wrong there - I was talking to our postie last week and they're moving to a daytime delivery with no early starts ! Totally defeats the whole point of being a postman for most of them ...

    Question

Thanks for such fast delivery of my two coins, Richard. They're fab!

This might be a silly question but I just wanted to check it was ok to include a link to the GAGB on the coin's home page?
