I'm semi-retired, and I live in the cathedral city of Salisbury in Wiltshire. I found my first cache on September 15th 2002. I've been a Member of GAGB almost since the beginning, and I served as a Committee Member before becoming Chairman.
My main contribution to GAGB has perhaps been rewriting our constitution, which had become increasingly outdated and unsuitable for an online organisation.
I stood down as Chairman in November 2009 due to ill health, but remained on the Committee. I've not been anywhere near as active in GAGB as I should have liked to have been over the last year, but now that my health is greatly improved I hope that if I'm elected to the new Committee I shall be able to take a much more active part in things in the future.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light. (Dylan Thomas)
