    Default English Heritage

GAGB was recently contacted by English Heritage regarding a cache near a Scheduled Ancient Monument. They were notified about it and they wanted more information about where it had been placed and how caching ensures that SAMs are protected.

We are now in dialogue with them. The cache in question was not on a SAM and this particular issue has passed. We are arranging for the EH contact to be taken out to experience caching and have it properly explained.

If you have any interactions with English Heritage then please let me know. Thanks.

Not much help, but, some of us cachers -and members of the GAGB- are members of English Heritage.

Had reason to contact them reference placing a couple of caches on a SAM at Minions, Cornwall (Caradon Hill is one massive SAM) I made the mistake of contacting the regional office and got no answer. Once I contacted the head office and complained the regional office replied and were okay with the placements.
