    Default Little Quest Challenge

This challenge has been running since 2007, but I thought I would remind people about it. So far only 13 caching teams have completed it (the last ones in August 2010)

GC154N9 is the final cache, but you need to find specific caches in the 47 ceremonial english counties on the way. All of them (except the final and city of London) are traditional boxes and are suppose to show you the best of each county.

MyGeocachingProfile.com has an option to "Include My Little Quest Progress Section in Profile?" .... to give you a list of your progress with caches/dates found on your profile page.

Little Quest Statistics is a regularly updated ranking table.

    Three micros...
    LQ:FINAL - Little Quest
    LQ:CITY - Bazalgette's Bank

    and LQ:Merseyside - Birkenhead Priory
Seems to have been replaced with a micro...

    And one 'Not chosen'
But, as it mentions 'Log Book' I think it's not a micro.

There is/was an LQ TB race with TB's traveling around to the LQ caches.
I've only had two LQ race TB's go through my LQ cache so far!
    I have a Geocaching problem...
    Work gets in the way!

Whoops (just took info from LQ page) ..... and I've found the LQ: Merseyside one too .... although I was chauffeured to it by the cache owner, so didn't have to try to hard to find it

I came across my first LQ: Racer coin (TB1DJGM) a couple of weeks ago - at one LQ and placed it in another LQ an hour or so later.

I can't find a list of all the trackables in the race, but by doing a search on the name, I have found these:
    Still Active: TB1DJGM, TBPB2K, TBNGCB, TB1R8A8, TB1R8N5, TB1R2VF
    Missing: TB1REVN, TB1R0N0 TB1FBYB

    Thumbs up

My first geocache find was LQ:NOTTINGHAMSHIRE.
    Here's my log
My daughter Eleanor was only 4½ at the time and she loved it. We swapped out a necklace with a pumpkin pendant and she still wears it regularly. I'd read up on TB's beforehand, so I knew what to do with the one I picked up.
When I met angellica at an event I thanked her for putting out a great cache, because I think if my first find had been a filmpot in a supermarket carpark I wouldn't have become addicted to this hobbyhmy:

We finished it in September 2009 I am amazed so few other cachers have completed it, although a couple look on there way to completing the series.

I've done a handful of the LQ caches, but I think I've already lost the numbers (and didn't note down a couple of them) so I doubt that I'll ever finish the series as I won't be able to find the final one.

I try and seek out any that are on my route - hopefully I'll log one tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm the official keeper of that, but I've not been very active over the past couple of years - just finding the odd cache here and there, picking up the odd TB/Coin and hoarding it for months (ooops!). (I've been more active on ... er ... another Groundspeak GPS game h34r

I'll dig out the spreadsheets sometime and update it. I will, honest.

Three more cachers completed the Little Quest in 2011 ... including BaSHful who keeps the LQ stats page up to date.

I have done two in the last week .... so now up to 32.

But I really should go and get the one in my home County!

18 found +1 we previously owned got the cornish set last year aiming for the london set later this year so probably find it in 2013 its a definite aim when we go on holiday last year we diverted about 40 miles of course to pick an "on route one up" .

Only question for us is do we log a find on the one we adopted out ???

Bumping this thread as I have added a link in the first post with the newly created Facebook group.

I am also pleased to report that I completed the series and found the final last April (2013). See Seeker issue 14 where I wrote a short recap.

There is also a Scottish quest as well now, so I have added that link as well.
