    Default Hello from Windsor area!

Been caching about a month now, mainly to get the kids out and about as a family (they are 3 and 5), they like it, we like it, although 5.5miles around Windsor great park didn't agree with the little one (lesson learnt there!). We have one hide locally with 10 visits so far, looking to upgrade from phone GPS to proper unit soon and are planning a caching/camping holiday near Swanage in August!

    Welcome Westclan!

5.5 miles seems a lot for a 26 year old (me) never mind a 3 year old!

If you want advise on the GPS have a look in the review forums or ask because the people on GAGB know everything there is possible to know about Geocaching! I have asked loads of questions and always got an honest and accurate answer.

    Happy Caching

Our youngest was a toddler when we first went caching and we used an off-road 3-wheeler buggy (Mountain Buggy Terrain). Perhaps predictably, she didn't want to walk so it took some time to get her walking 5 miles.

After many years of caching she did walk up and down Snowdon at age 8, so caching does help fitness!

    Welcome to GAGB.
