    Default 10-10-10 Multi-Event Geocoins

Was wondering if anyone out there (like me!) has an unhealthy interest in Multi-Event Geocoins?!
I have a complete collection of all 42 10-10-10 ''Powers Of Ten'' Multi-Event Geocoins and picked up a few trades along the way. So if you're missing any, give us a shout!
Anyone else have a full collection?
Any members attend the UK 10-10-10 Event organised by lizardman?
My coins are still in my ''trackables owned'' tab for reference, and will be available to be discovered at the MEGA in July.

Wow - what alot of coins you own.
What do you do - buy a new coin for every cache you find? (not far off!)

I haven't seen the 10 10 10 coins before nor was I aware of them. I went to Stuey's 10/10/10 event in Exeter.

Stuey's Event in Exeter was of course to celebrate 10 Years Of Geocaching. The official UK 10-10-10 Event (which was the one that sold the 10-10-10 geocoin) was held just outside of Preston in Lancashire and was organised by lizardman, although there were other 10-10-10 events held in the UK. If my memory serves me correctly there was a ''flash'' (10 minute) Event held in Dorchester.
The primary reason for the world wide ''multi'' events on the 10th October 2010 was a crazy idea of hosting an event on the 5th May 2005 (05-05-05) at 0505 in the morning by team FlyinV. The idea was to watch the sun come up, then retire to a nearby diner for breakfast. They never expected anyone to actually turn up - but turn up they did! To such an extent that it was decided to have a ''re-union'' the following year at 0606 am on the 06-06-2006. By the time we reached 2007 (07-07-07) there was 4 diferent event in 4 States (Georgia, California, Utah and New Jersey) and the Events had a name - ''It's Not About The Numbers''. They also had a geocoin. The 777 coin was designed by Mark Clemens (Avroair) and each State chose a diferent finish.
More info can be found on my 10-10-10 New York Geocoin page, the cache waypoint for the 555 Event is GCMHEV.
Groundspeak also became highly involved with the 10-10-10 Events - it just happened to coincide with their 10th Birthday celebrations, and they also (via the worldwide weekly newsletter) challenged the caching community to break the record for the number of account holders logging a cache in a single day. Which they duly did. This is why Groundspeak awarded all cachers who logged a find on the 10-10-10 a Souvenir.

Ah yeah, getting my 10's muddled up

I should have been at the
10/10/10 event following the Mega event in Catalunya ..... but instead spent 4 days in a Spanish hospital bed with a fractured ankle and missed all of the Mega weekends events

..... and missed the opportunity of finding a cache and receiving a 10/10/10 souvenir (a zimmer frame to the toilet was as far as I could manage!)
