How do i get started...?

Ok, im new to this....how do i get started??
Where do i go to find out the locations of geocaches for my area? (Scotland)
Help appreciated folks!

The easyest way is simply put your postcode into the search box on the geocaching.com . And it will throw up the nearest caches to you.

Then look on the cache description page in the section labelled Find... you will see this...

Find...
...other caches hidden or found by this user
...nearby caches of this type
...all nearby caches
...all nearby placenames
...all nearby benchmarks
...all nearby eTrails from Trails.com

If you click the ...all nearby caches link it will give you a new list with that cache as the starting point. Useful for working out a plan for an outing.
