I've heard that some of the Below Above have been archived after a request from the AWT via the GAGB but I can't find anything in relation to this on the forums. Could someone let me know what the new restrictions are please?

The committee received an email just before Christmas from Avon Wildlife Trust asking us to add them to the list 'of no access permissions from landowners'.

We were also given a list of specific caches and the cache owner and reviewer have been contacted about these. We don't have any more information. It is between the cache owner, AWT and the Reviewer - the GAGB are only passing on the message from the landowner/manager.

However, we know that some AWT reserve managers do give permission, so we hope to be able to get an agreement in place (rather than a straight ban) and this will be followed up in the New Year.

I have contacted the AWT to ask for maps of their reserves. What is on their website is too vague.

    Thank you Graculus.

Re the original post, AWT would not be managing land across the border in another county though, would they? So for the nature reserve that was near to those caches the east boundary looks clear.

Reserves do 'cross borders' but until I get detailed maps of the AWT holdings I can't comment.

Forgot to update this! Got a reply at the end of January. They are finding it difficult to let me have the maps. They did send me a hand drawn one of the Brown's Folly area but without the other 35 reserves there isn't much point in adding it. So for now we'll stick with the reserves as they appear on MAGIC (if they appear on MAGIC) and just point people to the AWT for permission/refusal. If they cannot provide us with what is or isn't their land there is little we as reviewers can do.
