An other tip is to find an event as local to you as you can (see the calendar) and go and meet some new friends ! We are a friendly bunch and other than having two heads,being festooned with all manner of equipment and a disconcerting habit of "following the arrow" we are quite normal really !! No seriously, go to an event - we were all newbies once, and you will get good advice
