    Default just to say hello

    Hi this is my first week with GAGB! just to say hello,and a query.I have an etrex vista hcx, could anybody tell me how to put in coordinates,if I do a multicache I down load it by it`s gc number,butwhen Ifind first cache with coords for second part I am stumped I cant seem to find the right place to put them in!! what am I doing wrong can some one explain .... thanks

    Hi, I have the same GPS. If I need to add additional set of coords, I just select 'Mark', and use that. It generates its own number, but you can choose to change that to a name.

    And, as countrymatters says, "Mark" your location and edit the numbers (and re-name) then save.

    It's handy to save each set of numbers, rather than editing the original coordinates... If you have to return to a stage -you forget a piece of information, or leave something like your glasses/sunglasses, you have the coordinates in the GPS.
    The other option is to always remember to write things down!
