The committee have decided to use an online voting system (Surveymonkey) for this year’s election. Our returning officer uses Surveymonkey for geocachealaska! which enables a personal ballot to be sent to members’ email addresses, IP tracking, automatic counting and timed closure.
Each member should have received an email from Surveymonkey to their registered email address during the early hours of 1st November which includes a URL for voting once only. You can’t change your vote later.
If you haven’t received your ballet then please check your GAGB registered email address, your ISP spam filter and email client spam filter. If your email address is currently incorrect then please mail ladybugs@geocachealaska.org
Voting will close at midnight GMT on 6th November.

Its a shame this was only posted in the locked thread on the GS forum where a member who was looking for it had to search.
Not many folks look in the locked threads

It's pinned at the top of the UK forum though - how more prominent can you get?
If someone had posted in the main thread, it would soon have vanished down the page, unless it was constantly spammed.
As you can see from the pinned thread, someone took exception to a note being posted on their event page - just goes to show you can't please everyone

It should be pinned and as a new topic. There have been complaints for years about things being missed in the pinned threads.
It only takes bumping once a day to stay at the top.
As for putting it on an event page, I would have asked first.
