    Default Hi to all

    An early retired couple from Northants here, whose hobbies include caravaning, fishing and gentle walks ie the outdoor life.

    Heard about geocaching thursday morning, joined this site and geocaching.com site on thursday, then on friday ordered a GPS, now sitting with itchy feet waiting for the GPS to arrive and fingers crossed for better weather.

    Hope to meet many of you out and about, and at big events.

    Hi, while you're waiting there are free (and paid) apps for smartphones...but a lot of caches are under snow right now
    So which GPS did you go for?

    After reading reviews we settled on the eTrex10, it being recommended as an entry level bit of kit...

    I personally would have gone for the 20, it's a little more but adds a lot of features you will find useful.
