lost trackable

I have a trackable that has ended up in australia it has been at the same location for over a month even though the cache has been visited many times since its arrival.
i am still a little green to geocaching and still learning the ropes what do i need to do to make sure its not lost i have tried messaging the CO of the last cache it was at as well as its last visitor, and i have also posted on a couple of australian geocache facebook sites, but have had no reply from anyone. I dont want to deactivate it until i know for certain its not at its last location.

Patience....

Leave it a while longer before doing anything, not everyone picks up trackables and it could still be in the cache. Or maybe someone has picked it up and forgot to log it.

Probably sombody picked it up and forgot to log it, it will most likely be found soon.
