The world is our playing field with geocaching. As nature is part of that playing field, it is obvious and important that we protect it by geocaching sustainably, with respect for the environment and nature. There are already major initiatives such as CITO events to emphasize this.

But you do not have to wait for an event or to pick up waste every time you go geocaching. It can also be done – as far as possible – by simply using public transport to and from the geocache / geocaching event you want to visit.

After a successful tour in Belgium (> 1000 km, 65 train stations, 11 events in 1 day), the geotrainmen will reconfirm this on an European level. We will visit on March 28, 2015 7 major cities in 5 different countries by train. Events will be held during stops while waiting for the next train.
