Can We Publicise this?

My wife writes a piece for a local newspaper. She would like to publicise geocaching in general.

Any views or ideas how we could put this forward?

either as a story on a good day out etc or get someone to convert and get their views after taking them out.

hardest part is to choose which cache to go on.

Some press like the angle of "high tech treasure hunt". Others like hearing how kids enjoy it and want to go for a walk. You can make a linkage with exercise (there was a Government White paper on this which mentioned Geocaching a couple of years ago). Or just a new, interesting hobby.

BBC Radio Wales put their own cache out near their building. (GCKKKR). That could be a starting point for an article.
