It's the start of the New Year, so

Which bits of the British Isles haven't you seen?

Where have you always fancied going, but haven't got there yet?

Any particular reason for your choice?

Me? I'd like to visit Ireland... I've never been to any part of it, but I'd particularly like to go to the west coast. I think "Ryan's Daughter" made an impression on me

Hmm, plenty of places yet to see for me. I've been to Dublin before, but I was 4 and can't remember a thing! Ditto for several other places.

Erm, but where to go? Scotland somewhere, it's the remaining part of the UK that I've yet to go to. Maybe the Isle of Man as well...

Any cachers on our turf are welcome to visit, especially if they solve "Through a glass, darkly" first
I'll even shove the cat off the best armchair so you can sit down for a cuppa

Just walk south 'til you hit the sea. Then turn right and keep walking.
I'll wave to you when you get to Portishead

Just booked three nights on the Scilly Isles in June.

It's so beautiful there.

(And I feel so at home there )

Never been to Ireland, and would quite like to go sometime in future. Only parts of Scotland have visited was Edinburgh (great place) and Garelochead, however most I saw of that was a training area and it was somewhat...well, remote. Not a holiday!

Hey YOU are Jade Goody and I claim my £5!!

As to me I want to go to the Hebrides as I hear the beaches are just like the Bahamas except no palm trees, no hot sun and no American tourists and more seals and fewer sharks and they are totally not the Bahamas come to think of it. B)

Try the Isles of Scilly... They have all you require plus palm trees and they're warmer but not very hot.

No, it was glorious fine, sunny weather
Our recent visit to the Peak District was total rain.
