Many of us will have obtained a "one off" permission for a cache placement in our local area. Perhaps it would be helpful to collate this information as a list of helpful individuals who have been happy to accept a geocache onto their patch? - Not Major Land Owners, but local managers or park wardens who are sympathetic to our cause.

    Would this be useful?
Should this be linked to the GC UK Forum?
Would other geocachers be willing to share their local contacts, for the good of all?
    What do you think?

The authority to place caches is usually with the local land manager such as the Ranger. It's usually only necessary to approach the Land Owners when seeking a generic permission.

Mrs B, your idea sounds like a good one to me.
