As you can see it has one windmill on the front that makes it one engine
Okay okay here's a clue:
It was made by a famous British car company and shares a name with with one of thier postwar cars
It had two engines and two crew and was present in Europe, North Africa, and the Far East.
(P.S. It's not a bloody Ford Cortina    )
P.P.S. It was definitely Carlsbeg (probably the best product placement in the world )

rebble be you a girl or a boy? we having disagreement here please settle it!
Well I suppose seeing as it's you KathyXB and that I have fallen madly in love with your pink wellies I suppose neither.
If you check my profile you will see that I would in fact fail to be either girl or boy due to the fact I am a borderline crusty at the age of forty four and eleven months.
So the real question is am I a lady or a man (or maybe ladyman  )
Why do you ask? Are we not all equal in the eyes of the cosmos?
:coffee: Hey maybe we should have a poll! :socool:
Ok brought a couple of "new" DVD's today.

I'm more a Buster Keaton man myself (crap I gave away the poll )
Double drat Keehotee got there first...
Thats another fine mess I gotten myself in...
Ha haa (in a Nelson off of the Simpsons voice)
p.s. Rebble, do you know anyone that wants 3 Peter Lynn buggy wheels - new bearings all round last Summer - for the price of postage? Buggy was a home-build, with suspension on the back end - but as I've been leaving it under the caravan all year round for the past 5 years, it's all rusted to bu66er4 and I'm scrapping it - and I use a mountain board nowadays......

I'd scrap it though you may be able to clean the rust off and...
Nope off to the scrap heap with it.
Well done Keehotee,
over to you.
Who's had the accident!!
Who called the doctor?
OK - what do the following films have in common....
Joe Versus the Volcano
The Prestige
Dr. Strangelove
Clerks
Come on people.....
OK, to make it a LOT easier...
Joe Versus the Volcano
The Prestige
Dr. Strangelove
Clerks
Kind Hearts and Coronets
wild guess, the lead roles are all played by one person?
Almost, so half a DING ( a Di ??? - how topical is that)
Anybody else care to elaborate on Nobby's answer, or do we give it to him by default (and for being the only person to guess)
not a bad guess when i've only ever seen one of the films! and that is the oldest one there.
You might as well have the Ding Matt - don't think anybody else wants to play.
The answer was multiple roles played by one person - not necessarily the lead....
ok how about a simple one.
from which does this quote come from and said by who?
What ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in What?
still one of my favourites. opcorn:
Looks like it's just you and me playing this week.
I held off answering this, but.......
It's from pulp Fiction. is it Jules?
well nothing wrong with just the pair of us playing.
if so i could have posted the bit which is my favourite but that's just a little bit rude for here! and here's me all sweet and innocent. :halo:
all yours.
OK - another easy one....
Who links the previous answer and Kwai Chang Caine?
Having had a beverage the other night Hubby Ape was trying to work this one out! As is often the case when having had a drink (a fine ale) he had 'solved' the answer, however come morning and it was just beyond his grasp, he couldn't quiet recall it :
(ok I'm being honest it was a little more than 1 beer) The best he can do is Kung Fu or Bruce Lee
Who's had the accident!!
Who called the doctor?
kill bill volume II ???
Well - the answer was going to be .........
but as you're both heading in the right direction, I'll toss a coin for it.
OK, lost that coin.
Arm wrestle for it.
(Or alternatively, the first of you to read this gets the Ding)
OK Nobbynobbs read it first, but didn't reply : so i'll hand it over to him
But you've still not said what was right
Who's had the accident!!
Who called the doctor?
I'm not sure that it should be me (and i'd like to know what the actual answer was meant to be) but for the sake of keeping the thread going:
What links "Ferris buellers day off" with "two and a half men"? opcorn:
Marlon Brando?
Because he was in Apocalypse Now with Martin Sheen - who was the father of an actor (Emilio Estevez) who's brother (Charlie Sheen - also an actor, apparently) was in both films?
well ding and dong really!!!
marlon dong
charlie sheen ding. was in both.
all yours.
