GAGB Photography Competition

Each year, the GAGB intends to produce a new geocoin depicting a location of significance or distinction within one of Britain's National Parks. Members of GAGB are invited to submit pictures to be judged for the following year's geocoin design.

Please upload your photo(s) online and supply the URL for each image. Online services such as Dropbox, Hightail, MailBigFile, flickr, and photobucket allow you to upload and link to photos for free. Please also tell us which national park the photo was taken in.

Rules of entry:

  1. All entrants must be Members of GAGB at the closing date (31st October 2014).
  2. Members may be allowed up to three entries.
  3. All entries must be original.
  4. Entries must be submitted online, using upload sites such as Hightail, MailBigFile, Dropbox, Flickr, or Photobucket.
  5. Images should be supplied in JPEG format and suitable for professional use, i.e. at least A5 size at 300dpi. They may be landscape or portrait format.
  6. The submission of photographs will be deemed to be consent to reproduce the winning entry free of rights on the geocoin design, and to use any or all of the entries, for illustration purposes only in the GAGB Seeker magazine.

The winner will receive a finished geocoin, and have their picture displayed on the front cover of Seeker magazine. All entries will be judged anonymously. Members of the GAGB Committee, past or present, are not excluded from entering the competition.
