Thanks for the advice. I am glad to see there is little more I can do.

One thing that does bother me is that whilst they have been grandfathered - how many CO are even aware of this? I am guessing very few indeed. So unless they are all physically removed then they will pose a clear threat to any cacher who isn't aware of the new GAGB rules.

But that is a wider debate and certainly not one for this Help and Advice forum.

In fairness to the CO, as far as I know there are already thousands of caches out there in urban environments that do not comply with the new guideline, without having caused any major incidents over the past few years.

The Wetherby incident was unfortunate - but these things happen, and not just to geocaches.
